Participate in the Abrahamic Moment:
Make a Contribution to the Lubar Institute
American society is poised at an important cultural crossroads, the “Abrahamic Moment”: a shift in the perceived underpinnings of “Western” moral, religious and intellectual culture from a “Judeo-Christian” axis to an Abrahamic one. Whether the United States embraces or spurns this Moment will have global implications.
One organization has already taken up this challenge: the Lubar Institute for the Study of the Abrahamic Religions (LISAR) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Contributing to the expansion of LISAR affords the opportunity to participate in an unparalleled work: never before have Muslims, Christians, and Jews undertaken a collective campaign to build a joint academic enterprise. This campaign, like LISAR, is unique; it could happen only at a public institution with a long tradition of civic involvement like UW-Madison. We invite you to become a part of this unprecedented enterprise.
What your gift can do - Even the smallest gift enables LISAR to do something we could not otherwise have accomplished. You may wish to examine some examples of what levels of donation may do, but the real list of giving opportunities
is endless.
